A brief overview of Herzberg’s Two-Factor Theory of Motivation. Part of a motivational session to improve employee performance by seeking staff feedback.

The Two Factors are Hygiene and Motivators.

Hygiene is the basic human needs at work. These must be met for a worker to perform the job properly.
The second factor Motivators are needs that must be fulfilled to ensure a satisfied employee. These are the factors that will motivate people to perform better and achieve more.
